Number the pages of any document, wherever you need them.

Page numbers matter as soon as a document has to be referred to: contracts that cite clauses by page, filings that must be paginated, reports that need a table of contents to line up. Merged documents in particular arrive with no numbering at all. This tool stamps numbers onto the pages and lets you choose where they sit. Everything runs in your browser — the file is never uploaded to a server, so it never leaves your computer.

Questions

Can I start numbering from something other than 1?

Yes. You can set any starting number, which is useful when a document is one volume of a larger set.

Will the numbers cover up my content?

Numbers are placed in the page margin. Choose the position that suits your layout if a corner is already occupied.

Can I add numbers to a document I already merged?

Yes, and that is the usual reason to need this. Merge first, then number, so the sequence runs correctly across the whole document.

Need to sign the document too?

LuxSign signs PDFs with electronic signatures that are legally valid across the EU under eIDAS — from a simple drawn signature through to a qualified electronic signature (QES) made with your eID smartcard, which carries the same legal weight as signing by hand.
