Split a PDF and extract pages

Pull out the pages you need and leave the rest behind.

Files never leave your device Runs in your browser 3 free operations with a free account

Splitting is what you reach for when only part of a document matters: one clause from a long agreement, a single statement from a yearly bundle, the pages you are allowed to share. Choose a page range and LuxSign builds a new PDF from just those pages. Everything runs in your browser — the file is never uploaded to a server, so it never leaves your computer.

Questions

Can I extract non-consecutive pages?

Yes. You can specify a range, and repeat the operation to pull out several separate sections.

Does the original PDF change?

No. The original file on your computer is untouched — splitting produces a new document and leaves the source exactly as it was.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

You will need to remove the password first. A PDF that the browser cannot open cannot be split.

Need to sign the document too?

LuxSign signs PDFs with electronic signatures that are legally valid across the EU under eIDAS — from a simple drawn signature through to a qualified electronic signature (QES) made with your eID smartcard, which carries the same legal weight as signing by hand.
