Rotate PDF pages

Fix sideways or upside-down scans and save the correction for good.

Files never leave your device Runs in your browser 3 free operations with a free account

Scanners and phone cameras routinely produce pages lying on their side. Rotating in a PDF viewer only changes how it looks on screen; the file itself is unchanged, and the next person to open it sees the same sideways page. This tool rewrites the page orientation into the document, so the fix travels with the file. Everything runs in your browser — the file is never uploaded to a server, so it never leaves your computer.

Questions

Why not just rotate it in my PDF reader?

Most readers only rotate the on-screen view and do not save it into the file. Anyone else opening the document still sees the original orientation. This tool changes the stored page rotation, so the fix is permanent.

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. You can apply a rotation to the whole document or to the specific pages that need it.

Does rotating affect the text or image quality?

No. Rotation changes a page attribute; the page content itself is not re-rendered or re-compressed.

Need to sign the document too?

LuxSign signs PDFs with electronic signatures that are legally valid across the EU under eIDAS — from a simple drawn signature through to a qualified electronic signature (QES) made with your eID smartcard, which carries the same legal weight as signing by hand.
